They will work closely with Engineering, Product, IT, and other functional teams to build, operate, and improve customer-facing infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). \nThe ideal candidate brings hands-on cloud and infrastructure experience, enjoys solving operational challenges, thrives in a collaborative environment, actively leverages AI tools to improve productivity, and is passionate about delivering secure, reliable, and scalable services for enterprise customers worldwide. \nResponsibilities: \nContribute to infrastructure automation using infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and GitOps practices\nBuild, maintain, and improve secure, reliable, and highly available infrastructure for SaaS and Hosted services on GCP\nLeverage and develop AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, automate routine tasks, generate scripts, and improve documentation quality\nCollaborate with engineering teams to deploy and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes-based platforms\nBuild and improve operational tooling, monitoring, runbooks, and documentation to enhance service reliability and reduce operational effort\nParticipate in change management, release activities, operational readiness reviews, and on-call support processes\nWork with Engineering, Product, Services, Security, and other departments to support business and customer requirements\nContribute to platform engineering initiatives that improve developer productivity, service reliability, security, and operational efficiency\nMonitor platform health, investigate incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in continuous service improvement efforts\nRequired Qualifications: \n3-5 years of experience supporting production SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, or customer-facing services\nHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Networking, IAM, Monitoring, and Logging\nExperience working with Kubernetes and containerized applications\nComfortable using AI and LLM tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) as part of everyday engineering workflows. Experience with Agentic development a plus.\nExperience with Docker and container-based deployment practices\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab CI, or similar technologies\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or equivalent\nProficiency with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, TLS, routing, firewall concepts, and load balancing\nFamiliarity with observability and monitoring tools used to operate production systems\nExperience troubleshooting applications and infrastructure in production environments\nFamiliarity with Java-based applications and services is beneficial\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams\nEducation: \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience.\nBlack Duck is an equal opportunity employer.
