This position will be responsible for collaborating and producing marketing material that enhances the image, brand and reputation of Blackhawk and its campuses internally and externally.\nThis position will be open until filled. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible\nResponsibilities\nPerform layout and design of promotional materials and publications for the College consistent with the College image and brand standards.\nSeek and incorporate multicultural perspectives into marketing collateral.\nMaintain knowledge of industry best practices; make recommendations for continuous improvement. \nOrganize and maintain electronic files of projects and image resources.\nWork collaboratively with a variety of departments to develop marketing pieces that meet the needs of the organization.\nManage and track workflow to prioritize projects and meet deadlines. \nTrack all projects using the department project management tool.\nUnderstand the print process and how to prepare files to collaborate with the print center on printed projects.\nCoordinate with stakeholders on campus digital and static signage displays.\nPhotograph College campuses, faculty and staff as needed.\nProvide backup for other members of the Marketing and Communications team.\nQualifications\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nAdvanced skills in the use of industry standard software including: \nAdobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat\nMicrosoft Office: Word & Powerpoint\nFont utility programs\nProficiency in using mac and pc platforms.\nProvide creative page layout skills in print and digital/web marketing.\nAbility to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.\nDigital photography, animation or video editing skills.\nAbility to communicate and work with diverse stakeholders.\nEducation & Experience:\nAssociate Degree in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design or Related Field.\nTwo years of related Graphic Design experience.\nBlackhawk Technical College does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position.
