You will serve as a subject matter expert across key general ledger functions, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and actively support our finance transformation and AI integration initiatives.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nGeneral Ledger & Month-End Close Execution\nLead end-to-endmonth-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for assigned functional areas, ensuring financial records are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with US GAAP.\n\nPrepare and post complex journal entries, intercompany transactions, accruedliabilities, and equity/capitalized items.\n\nPerform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, variance analyses, and flux explanations (P&L and Balance Sheet) to support FP&A and executive reporting.\n\nProcess Optimization, Automation & AI Integration\nActively identifyopportunities to streamline accounting workflows, eliminatemanual touchpoints, and shorten the close cycle.\n\nBecome a super-user and internal champion of BlackLine’sown product suite, leveragingour platform to its fullest potential.\n\nParticipate in testing, implementing, and adopting AI-driven accounting tools, intelligent reconciliations, automated variance analysis, and data warehouse reporting features.\n\nServe as a subject matter expert and informal mentor for junior staff and new hires within the accounting team, providing guidance on best practices for accounting processes and use of the BlackLineplatform.\n\nCross-Functional Business Partnership\nAct as a key accounting partner to G&A functions (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, IT) and operational business units across the company.\n\nProvide guidance on accounting implications for business initiatives, system integrations, and operational process changes.\n\nAudit, SOX Compliance & Governance\nMaintain strong internal controls and ensure strict compliance with SOX requirements and corporate accounting policies.\n\nPrepare audit schedules, gather documentation, and interface directly with internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.\n\nTechnical Accounting & Special Projects\nAssistin researching, documenting, and implementing accounting policies for complex or non-standard transactions.\n\nLead special accounting initiatives, system upgrade user-acceptance testing (UAT), and data reporting projects as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nEducation & Credentials\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relatedfield.\n\nCertification: Active CPA license (or CPA candidate) preferred.\n\nExperience\n5-8+ years of progressive GL accounting experience, ideally in SaaS, enterprise software, or fast-paced technology environments.\n\nProven track recordas a high-performing individual contributor managing complex close processes and account reconciliations independently.\n\nSystems & Technical Skills\nHands-on expertisewith enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and close management software (BlackLine).\n\nAdvanced Excel skills and strong familiarity with business intelligence/data warehouse reporting tools.\n\nStrong interest in leveragingmodern automation and AI-driven tools in daily workflows.\n\nStrong technical understanding of US GAAP, SOX internal controls, and financial statements.\n\nCore Competencies\nExceptional analytical rigor, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.\n\nStrong communicationskills with the ability to convey complex accounting topics clearly to cross-functional partners.\n\nAbility to prioritize multiple deliverables independently in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPriorpublic accounting (Big 4 or national tier) experience.\n\nPrior experience working with BlackLine modules (Reconciliations, Journal Entry, Task Management, Variance Analysis).\n\nExperience withcross-functional project leadership and ERP implementation/enhancement projects.\n\nThrive at BlackLine Because You Are Joining:\nA technology-based company with a sense of adventure and a vision for the future.
