The Implementation Consultant is also responsible for consulting with mid-market clients regarding best practices and client business needs in order to best configure the software and provide exceptional customer service. You'll Get To:\nLeads multiple concurrent implementation projects with general direction and standard implementation procedures.\nDrives and manages all implementation milestones to completion within budget, scope, schedule, and customer satisfaction.\nCreates and maintains thorough documentation throughout the implementation to include billable hours, Salesforce notes/documentation, expense management, etc.\nCommunicates with key stakeholders to ensure risk awareness, project progress, set expectations, and define next steps in a timely manner.\nTrains and advises clients to properly use appropriate products to best fit their individual needs based on best practices and use cases.\nCoaches and consults with clients to advocate the features and functionality of BlackLine products during configuration in order to obtain buy-in and user adoption.\nOffers recommendations for improving system performance gaps and system options to increase efficiencies and achieve best practice standards.\nAssesses and troubleshoots application issues during the implementation cycle.\nProvides application feedback to Product team in order to enhance or resolve functionality for future releases.\nPerforms other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.\nAt least 2 years of experience in Consulting Services, Client Services and/or Professional Services environment.\nDemonstrated experience in managing implementation projects.\nExperience in a client-facing role.\nExperience in a high-revenue producing environment (eg billing of time and materials).\nDemonstrated experience communicating and presenting to a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels.\nKnowledge of accounting terminology and processes (e.g. month-end close process).\nKnowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Salesforce, Accounting software.\nExcellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nDemonstrated strong technical problem-solving skills.\nEffective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.\nStrong client relationship skills.\nAbility to lead, own and manage a project.\nAbility to navigate ambiguous or difficult situations or personalities.\nMust be proactive and have a sense of urgency.\nAbility to interact and collaborate with all levels of staff across the organization in both internal support groups and external client stakeholders.\nPrevious experience documenting Business Requirements for software development and technical specifications.\nWe’re Even More Excited If You Have:\nTwo plus years of experience in the audit/accounting industry.\nBackground in software.\nTechnology background/experience.\nAccounting degree/CPA preferred.\nThrive at BlackLine Because You Are Joining:\nA technology-based company with a sense of adventure and a vision for the future.
