This role is responsible for leading a diverse portfolio of technology and business transformation initiatives that span multiple departments, systems, and stakeholders across the organization.\nThe ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, successfully managing several projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines. They are a trusted business partner who can build strong relationships across all levels of the organization while also providing the leadership, structure, and accountability needed to keep projects moving forward.\nThis individual will act as the central point of coordination between business teams, technology teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the confidence to challenge assumptions, escalate issues, and hold stakeholders accountable for commitments and deliverables.\nResponsibilities:\nProject Leadership & Delivery\nLead multiple concurrent projects ranging from business process improvements to enterprise software implementations and technology transformation initiatives.\nDevelop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, resource requirements, risk registers, and communication plans.\nEnsure projects adhere to established BIT governance, methodologies, and project management standards.\nDrive project execution from intake and business case development through implementation and post-project review.\nMonitor project performance and proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.\nStakeholder Management & Collaboration\nBuild trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, Customer Care, Product, Manufacturing, and BIT.\nFacilitate productive discussions that align diverse groups around common project goals.\nAct as the bridge between business and technical teams, translating complex concepts into clear business outcomes.\nFoster collaboration while balancing competing priorities and departmental interests.\nAccountability & Governance\nEstablish clear ownership for actions, decisions, and deliverables.\nHold project participants accountable for commitments while maintaining positive working relationships.\nEscalate risks, delays, and unresolved issues in a timely and professional manner.\nEnsure decisions, action items, and project outcomes are documented and communicated effectively.\nPortfolio & Resource Management\nManage competing project priorities across a diverse project portfolio.\nProvide regular status reporting to leadership, executives, and steering committees.\nAssist with project intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, and resource forecasting.\nSupport continuous improvement of BIT project management practices, tools, and governance processes.\nChange Management & Adoption\nPartner with business leaders to support organizational change and user adoption.\nCoordinate testing, training, communication, and deployment activities.\nEnsure successful transition of solutions into ongoing operational support.\nAbout You:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.\nPMP certification or equivalent project management certification, preferred.\nMinimum 8 years of project management experience leading medium to large cross-functional initiatives.\nProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex business environment.\nStrong experience leading enterprise software, ERP, systems integration, infrastructure, or business transformation projects.\nExceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.\nDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.\nStrong organizational, planning, and risk management capabilities.\nExperience working with both business and technical teams.\nHighly organized and able to effectively manage several complex initiatives at the same time.\nA confident communicator who can engage executives, department leaders, vendors, and technical teams.\nRelationship-focused and skilled at building trust across the organization.\nComfortable having difficult conversations and holding teams accountable for commitments.\nResults-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.\nAdaptable and resilient when navigating ambiguity, changing priorities, and organizational complexity.\nA natural leader who brings structure, clarity, and momentum to projects.\nExperience with ERP platforms, enterprise applications, software implementations, and systems integrations are preferred.\nExperience working in manufacturing, SaaS, technology, or industrial organizations are preferred.\nFamiliarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies are preferred.\nTotal Rewards\nAt Blackline Safety, we offer more than just a job-we offer a career with purpose.
