Tech & Ops is the backbone of BlackRock’s global platform - a diverse team of 4,000+ professionals who design, build, and run the systems that support every aspect of our business. From trade execution to client experience, employee enablement to platform innovation, we drive operational excellence across the firm. Within Tech & Ops is our Enterprise Services team, which is responsible for managing corporate Real Estate Services, Enterprise Resilience, Workplace Experience, and Executive Operations to deliver a safe, resilient, high-performance workplace and related services.\nThis role partners closely with Enterprise Services teams and Finance stakeholders to provide cost reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The successful candidate will perform financial analysis, reporting, and governance to support disciplined cost management and delivery against financial targets. This role requires exceptional analytical abilities, a proven track record in financial analysis and a technology and AI forward mindset.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBusiness partner with Enterprise Services teams to ensure accurate expense forecasts, challenge assumptions, and clearly communicate risks and opportunities\nBuild and enhance financial forecast models, ensuring they are scalable, well-structured, and able to support evolving business requirements\nLeverage advanced Excel and analytical tools (including automation and AI) to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance the quality and accessibility of financial insights\nTranslate financial results into clear, concise narratives; present outputs to senior management in a simple and actionable manner\nWork closely with colleagues to ensure connectivity across provider performance, strategic initiatives, and new developments\nProactively identify and deliver improvements in monthly forecasting and reporting processes, reducing manual effort and increasing consistency\nParticipate in team-wide projects, including financial modelling and ad hoc strategic finance work, to generate incremental insight and support decision-making\nPartner with Finance teams, including Controllers and Sourcing & Vendor Management, on key deliverables and cross-functional initiatives\nKnowledge and experience requirements:\nGraduate with a 2:1 degree or above\nAccounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with 4+ years of work experience\nStrong attention to detail to ensure a high degree of accuracy\nStrong financial modelling capability, including building and maintaining robust, scalable forecast models; strong understanding of data structures, drivers-based modelling, and translating complex outputs into clear insights for decision-making.\nDemonstrated ability to leverage technology and emerging AI tools to improve financial processes, including automating repetitive tasks, enhancing analysis, or enabling more efficient access to data and insights\nA solutions oriented self-starter who anticipates and prepares for potential problems\nAbility to deliver in fast paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands\nStrong organizational, planning, quantitative and problem solving skills; results driven with strategic and creative thinking\nAdvanced Excel and analytical tool proficiency, with experience handling large/complex datasets and applying automation or AI-enabled tools to enhance analysis and reporting.
