The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and execution of automated and AI-assisted testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications.\nThis role is ideal for an early-career QA professional looking to build expertise in test automation, CI/CD, AI-enabled quality engineering, and modern software development practices.\nAbout the role\nDevelop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.\nSupport the implementation of automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.\nCollaborate with senior engineers to identify test scenarios suitable for automation.\nAnalyze test results and investigate automation failures.\nApply AI-assisted tools to improve test design, test data generation, failure analysis, and automation maintenance under guidance from senior engineers.\nQuality Assurance\nReview business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test cases and test plans.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.\nDocument defects clearly and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.\nValidate fixes and ensure production readiness.\nCollaboration & Delivery\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.\nWork closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and quality expectations.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Engineering function.\nContinuous Improvement\nSupport CI/CD testing activities and automated test execution pipelines.\nIdentify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and automation effectiveness.\nStay up to date with emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.\nExplore opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce repetitive testing effort, improve defect triage, and accelerate release confidence.\nAbout you\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n3 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.\nBasic knowledge of test automation tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.\nFamiliarity with programming languages such as, Python, JavaScript & TypeScript.\nUnderstanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).\nKnowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.\nExperience using version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket\nAwareness of AI-assisted development or testing tools, with an interest in applying AI responsibly to improve quality engineering outcomes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nUnderstanding of CI/CD tools such as Team city, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.\nKnowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6.\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.\nFamiliarity with test management tools such as Jira, ADO.\nExposure to AI-enabled testing, self-healing automation, intelligent defect analysis, or test generation tools.\nKey Competencies\nAttention to detail.\nLearning agility and curiosity.\nTeam collaboration.\nOwnership and accountability.\nProblem-solving mindset.\nEffective communication.\nContinuous improvement focus.\nResponsible curiosity in using AI tools, with awareness of data privacy, security, and quality risks.\nSuccess Measures\nAutomated test coverage growth.\nReduction in manual regression testing effort.\nDefect detection effectiveness.\nTest execution reliability and quality metrics.\nContribution to sprint and release success.\nContinuous improvement initiatives delivered.\nAdoption of AI-assisted testing practices that improve efficiency, maintainability, and defect insight.\nOur benefits\nTo help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of employee benefits including: retirement investment and tools designed to help you in building a sound financial future; access to education reimbursement; comprehensive resources to support your physical health and emotional well-being; family support programs; and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.\nOur hybrid work model\nBlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
