About this role Data Engineer, Aladdin Data, Associate Location: Mumbai, India Job level: Associate Your team The Alternative Data Pipeline Engineering team supports Aladdin, BlackRock's investment management and technology platform, by building and operating reliable data products that acquire, transform, model, and distribute diverse datasets for investment, analytics, and platform use cases. The team partners across engineering, product, data specialists, and data consumers, with a focus on making high-quality data reliably and efficiently available. Your role and impact As a Data Engineer, you will build and support enterprise data pipelines and data platforms that enable scalable processing of structured and semi-structured data. You will apply strong Python and Structured Query Language (SQL) skills and work with Snowflake and modern data engineering technologies to deliver solutions from requirements and technical design through implementation, deployment, and production support. Your work will improve the quality, observability, reliability, and maintainability of production data products while simplifying how new datasets are onboarded and processed. Your responsibilities
