We are seeking a candidate with strong people and project management skills to lead a team of engineers in rearchitecting and modernizing a core service in the Aladdin analytics and reporting estate. In this role, you will drive collaboration across engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver a modern, API-first solution. The ideal candidate will be able to establishan in-depth knowledge of all parts of the system, design and implement scalable solutions, and lead the team to successful delivery.\nStrong experience with the client-server model and inter-process communication technologies is a must to work with our myriad Java services, which act as both consumers and producers of data. The candidate will solve complicatedproblems in large scale data systems by applying their knowledge of data modeling and database technologies. API design will be a facet of the role, requiring partnership with clients to deliver our data in an efficient and performant manner. A key differentiation will be the ability to apply AI-native skillsetsto accelerate the product development lifecyclethrough a modern operating model andagentic tooling to increase implementation velocity. As a senior member of the team, the applicantwill be expected to lead and mentorjunior engineersand collaborate directly with stakeholders.
