DevSecOps is an approach to building software that integrates security safeguards directly into the daily workflow from day one, rather than treating security as an afterthought or a final compliance check. This position is to prevent last-minute delays and friction if vulnerabilities are uncovered right before a release. DevSecOps breaks down those traditional department silos by automating security testing and making risk prevention a shared, continuous responsibility across all technical teams. By embedding automated security checks early into every stage of the development process, companies can deliver secure, high-quality software to customers significantly faster while dramatically reducing the risk of costly data breaches.\nList of responsibilities include (but are not limited to):\n· Validating software builds produced through GitLab CI/CD pipelines\n· Building and troubleshooting Docker-based test environments\n· Performing component and system-level verification\n· Analyzing C++ software\n· Verifying artifact integrity and configuration control\n· Executing secure DevSecOps workflows\n· Confirming compliance with operational and security requirements\n· Maintaining test evidence\n· Coordinating with DevSecOps, software, test, and deployment teams\nRequirements\nRequired Skills/Education\n· Bachelor's degree in a related technical field;
