Together, we are not just sailing; we are charting a course to push boundaries of what's possible.\nSalary Range : $125,000 - $150,000\nTravel: Occasional\nThe Subcontract Administrator is responsible for the administration of subcontracts and related agreements supporting U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) prime contracts. The position ensures subcontracts are structured, executed, and managed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), prime contract terms, and company policy. The Subcontract Administrator serves as the primary contractual interface with suppliers and subcontractors and works closely with Program Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, and Security.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nWrite & issue RFPs and RFI's to subcontractors.\n* Prepare, negotiate, award, and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, task orders, and modifications (fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, T&M, and IDIQ vehicles).\nIncorporate and verify required FAR/DFARS clauses and prime contract flowdowns, including data rights, cybersecurity (DFARS 252.204-7012 and CMMC), specialty metals, counterfeit parts, and small business subcontracting provisions.\nConduct cost and price analysis, obtain certified cost or pricing data when required, and support the preparation of price reasonableness determinations.\nReview subcontractor proposals and support source selection and sole-source justifications.\nMonitor subcontractor performance, deliverables, schedules, and invoicing; process change orders and contract modifications; resolve disputes and claims in coordination with Legal.\nEnsure compliance with small business subcontracting plans and report on goals (e.g., eSRS / SF 294 / SF 295 as applicable).\nVerify subcontractor eligibility (SAM registration, debarment and exclusion checks, CAGE code, representations and certifications).\nSupport government audits and reviews, including DCAA, DCMA, and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) activities.\nMaintain complete and auditable subcontract files and ERP/contract management records.\nSupport government property, ITAR/export compliance, and consent-to-subcontract requirements as applicable.\nSupport subcontract closeout, including final invoices, release of claims, and property disposition.\nPrepare status reports, metrics, and forecasts for management and program teams.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum [3-5] years of subcontract or procurement administration experience supporting U.S. Government (DoD preferred) prime contracts.\nWorking knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and cost accounting standards (CAS) as they apply to subcontracting.\nExperience with cost and price analysis and negotiation.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.\nExperience with Microsoft Office and an ERP or contract management system (e.g., Deltek, SAP, Oracle, Unanet).\nU.S. citizenship\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional certification such as CFCM, CPCM (NCMA), CPSM, or CPPB.\nExperience supporting a DCMA-approved purchasing system or CPSR.\nExperience with FAR Part 15, Part 12, and Part 44 subcontracting requirements, and with cyber compliance (NIST SP 800-171 / CMMC).\nExperience with cost-type and fixed-price subcontracts on major defense programs.\nSalary Description\n$125,000 -
