The ideal candidate should be comfortable in navigating complex schedules, facilitating administrative operations in recruiting and onboarding, and should have a passion for providing candidates with a seamless and positive experience. A successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills and is expected to leverage effective communication and interpersonal skills to partner successfully with our recruiters and People team, hiring managers, interviewers and incoming candidates. You will need the ability to exercise sound judgment and be able to communicate with an air of calm in all aspects of scheduling and coordinating. \nOutside of recruiting responsibilities, this position supports onboarding tasks and ensuring that candidates are successfully set up for their first day. This position will report to the Sr Manager, People & Culture and is a hybrid position supporting our Seattle, WA office. In person responsibilities will be tied to overseeing on-site candidate interviews and assisting with other People tasks as needed.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and interview panel members, including complex or multi-stage interview schedules.\nFacilitate in-person interviews and/or candidate presentations when needed.\nServe as a point of contact for candidates and hiring managers during initial scheduling and for any updates or cancellations.\nPrepare, distribute, track, and upload candidate confidentiality agreements and other required recruiting documentation as candidates progress through the interview process.\nConduct professional reference checks for candidates selected for hire and ensure appropriate documentation is completed and maintained.\nSupport pre-hire administrative activities and ensure candidate information and required documentation are completed prior to onboarding.\nMaintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within ATS (Greenhouse) and other People tools.\nAssist all recruiters and hiring managers with administrative and operational needs throughout the recruiting lifecycle.\nHelp maintain recruiting templates, interview materials, candidate communications, and process documentation.\nMonitor recruiting processes for outstanding actions and proactively follow up with candidates and internal stakeholders to keep hiring processes moving.\nSupport reporting, data tracking, and other Talent projects as needed.\nMaintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling candidate and employee information.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications: \nMinimum of 2 years of experience in talent operations and/or recruiting.\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.\nPrevious experience using an ATS (we use Greenhouse!).\nStrong organizational skills, including experience managing and scheduling across complex calendars.\nExperience supporting multiple recruiters/hiring managers for high-volume scheduling and coordination. \nUnderstanding of recruiting compliance and reporting.\nExcellent communication as well as demonstrated multi-tasking capabilities and work ethic.\nExperience multi-tasking in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.\nExperience managing calendars using Outlook.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in the space/satellite industry.\nExperience with full-cycle recruiting.\nLife at BlackSky for full-time benefits eligible employees includes:\nMedical, dental, vision, disability, group term life and AD&D, voluntary life and AD&D insuranceBlackSky pays 100% of employee-only premiums for medical, dental and vision and contributes $100/month for out-of-pocket expenses!\n\n15 days of PTO, 11 Company holidays, four Floating Holidays (pro-rated based on hire date), one day of paid volunteerism leave per year, parental leave and more\n401(k) pre-tax and Roth deferral options with employer match\nFlexible Spending Accounts\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program\nEmployee Assistance and Travel Assistance Programs\nEmployer matching donations\nProfessional development\nAwesome swag\nThe anticipated hourly range for candidates in Washington is $35 - $42 per hour. The final compensation package offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on specific background and education.
