Responsibilities:\nExperience leading code reviews\n\nAdvisor to clients for projects that best meet their bottom line\n\nExperience scoping out complex custom WordPress or ecommerce builds\n\nExpert level skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript\n\nExpert on backend development with PHP.\n\nExperience working and managing MySQL databases.\n\nExperience building custom WordPress themes/plugins\n\nComplete understanding of the WordPress core software and its functions at the code level\n\nHands on experience with SASS/SCSS/LESS and Flexbox\n\nBuild responsive websites that function perfectly on any device or browser size\n\nExperience with Git/Bitbucket\n\nAbility to execute ADA and SEO best practices\n\nLeverage WP Plugin Advanced Custom Fields\n\nProactively perform cross-browser compatibility tests and iterate to work through the bugs\n\nAdept at developing custom WP themes from Figma design files\n\nCollaborate with both UX/UI Web Designers and Backend Developers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation in order to complete projects, websites, platforms and other web experiences\n\nOptimize application for optimum speed and scalability\n\nCommunicate positively and honestly with a strong work ethic and reliability\n\nExcitement to learn new technologies and self-teach when needed\n\nThis position does not use existing WordPress templates or page builders (i.e WP Bakery, Divi, Elementor, etc) as all projects are custom and built from scratch\n\nBonus Qualifications:\nExperience with SOWs or RFPs or other pre-sales activity\n\nExperience with Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks\n\nExperience with vanilla.js, ES6/ES2015, Gutenberg blocks\n\nExperience working with Laravel PHP Framework and other backend technologies like CodeIgniter and NodeJS.\n\nAbility to use a taskrunner (ie: Gulp/Grunt/Webpack) to generate website assets\n\nDevelop with a JavaScript compiler (ie: Babel, etc) to generate cross-browser compatible JS code\n\nTesting experience\n\n3+ years of agency
