Serving both internal and external clients, we work to build the next generation of systems that manage risk, create efficiency and improve transparency within the firm and across our broad community of investors and portfolio companies.\nJob Title: Blackstone Technology & Innovations - Data Engineering & Visualization - Associate\nJob Responsibilities:\nProduce and maintain standard analytical reports plus data visualizations using approved analytics platforms and designated data sources to support business and investment reporting needs.\nImplement and refine documented business requirements into analytics deliverables and data outputs, escalating questions or issues as needed.\nManage and execute assigned tasks across multiple projects while meeting established timelines and priorities.\nRefine and drive adoption of data visualization and data governance best practices throughout the firm.\nDevelop proof-of-concept (POC) engagements by developing limited-scope analytical prototypes using approved technologies.\nMaintain documentation and data permissions related to analytics processes, data definitions, and reporting outputs.\nAssist with data ingestion and preparation processes using existing ETL pipelines and data integration tools.\nPerform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of analytics outputs.\nPerform other duties as needed.\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field required.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 2 years of experience using Tableau and Sigma Computing to build internal metadata usage dashboards, and administer software license allocations.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience using Python and SQL to query, transform, and analyze large datasets within Snowflake to support internal reporting and analytics need.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel and Python to cross-validate data between source systems for accuracy and consistency.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements using JIRA and Confluence to understand existing processes and support the design and delivery of data-focused solutions.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience using Benevity and Sigma Computing to track and report on volunteer and donation activities.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience using Python and REST API endpoints to migrate Microsoft Excel reports into Tableau and Sigma Computing dashboards.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience using REST APIs, Fivetran, and Prefect to extract, ingest, and standardize data to create and maintain golden-copy analytics datasets serving as an individual source of truth across multiple source systems.\nMinimum of 6 months of experience using Sigma Computing to develop financial scenario models for internal analysis.\nMinimum of 6 months of experience using Oracle expense data and Sigma Computing to analyze, monitor, and report on enterprise expenses.\nExperience can be concurrent.\nThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
