Manual Testing & Test Execution\nDesign, write, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts covering functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, API, and performance testing.\nPerform exploratory, smoke, and sanity testing to validate application builds before release.\nExecute planned test cycles, document test results, log and manage defects with clear reproduction steps, and verify software fixes through regression testing.\n2. Test Automation Engineering\nDevelop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks.\nEnhance test coverage by maintaining automation suites and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.\nReview, debug, and optimize automation scripts to improve reliability and execution efficiency.\n3. Performance Testing & Optimization\nDesign, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to evaluate system reliability, responsiveness, and stability under varying workloads.\nIdentify, analyze, and report performance bottlenecks while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to recommend and validate performance improvements.\nMonitor performance test results and provide recommendations to improve application scalability and user experience.\n4. AI-Assisted Quality Engineering\nUtilize AI-powered tools to accelerate test case generation, automation scripting, test data creation, defect analysis, and testing documentation while validating the accuracy and quality of AI-generated outputs.\nEvaluate and adopt AI-assisted testing techniques to improve testing effectiveness, productivity, and software quality.\nApply AI tools responsibly to enhance test coverage, identify potential risks, and optimize testing workflows.\n5. Test Documentation & Reporting\nPrepare, maintain, and deliver testing artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test data, traceability matrices, test execution reports, defect reports, and test summary reports.\nProvide accurate testing status updates, quality metrics, defect summaries, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.\n6. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)\nSupport User Acceptance Testing by preparing test cases, assisting with test environments, coordinating with stakeholders, executing UAT scenarios, and validating business requirements.\nEnsure UAT activities are completed successfully before production release.\n7. Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis\nInvestigate, identify, and document root causes of software defects while collaborating with development teams to support timely resolution.\nAssist developers in reproducing and validating reported issues within test environments.\nAnalyze recurring defects and recommend preventive quality improvements.\n8. Requirements Analysis & SDLC Participation\nReview business and functional requirements to ensure completeness, testability, and adequate test coverage.\nParticipate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, test planning, execution, validation, and release activities.\n9. Knowledge Sharing & Team Collaboration\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level QC engineers on testing best practices, automation techniques, AI-assisted testing tools, and quality processes.\nCollaborate closely with development, product, business, and infrastructure teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.\n10. Quality Improvement\nContribute to improving testing methodologies, quality standards, templates, automation practices, AI-enabled quality engineering processes, and performance testing strategies.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to improve product quality and testing efficiency.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education and work experience.\n6+ years of hands-on experience in software quality control/testing.\n5+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end).\n2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (framework development, scripting, CI/CD integration).\nProfessional certification such as ISTQB-CTFL or ISTQB-CTAL.\nProven hands-on experience executing both manual testing (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end) and test automation (framework development, scripting, CI/CD integration).\nProficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar) with the ability to write, debug, and maintain automation code.\nProficiency in performance testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or similar) with the ability to design, execute, analyze, and optimize performance test scenarios.\nDemonstrated experience preparing and delivering complete testing artifacts (test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, defect reports, test summary reports).\nTrack record of owning UAT cycles and driving them to successful completion.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to personally identify bugs, analyse root causes, and drive resolution.\nIn-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, phases, and approaches, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing.\nStrong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with QC, development, and business groups.\nAbility to multi-task, triage issues, react well to changes, and work independently or in a team setting
