Technical - Customization & Development\nDevelop and maintain X++ extensions: new forms, tables, classes, chain-of-command\nextensions, and event handlers, without over-layering.\nBuild and modify SSRS reports and Electronic Reporting (ER) formats for invoices, statements,\npayment files, and regulatory reports.\nCreate and extend data entities for imports, exports, and integration.\nConfigure workflows, security roles, duties, and privileges for AR/AP users.\nManage code through Azure DevOps: version control, builds, deployable packages, and releases\nacross Dev, UAT, and Production through Lifecycle Services (LCS) or the Power Platform admin\ncenter.\nWrite technical design documents (TDDs) and follow Microsoft best practices and the Chamber's\ncoding standards.\n3. AI Agents & Automation\nImplement and configure Copilot capabilities in D365 Finance, such as collections assistance,\ncustomer summaries, and vendor communication.\nBuild custom AI agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, for example: invoice\ncapture and coding, payment status inquiries, dunning follow-up, and vendor query handling.\nAutomate repetitive AR/AP tasks with Power Automate and AI Builder (document processing,\napprovals, notifications).\nDefine guardrails for AI use: data access, approval steps, audit trail, and human review of\nfinancial actions.\nMeasure agent outcomes (time saved, error rate, adoption) and report results to management.\n4. Integration - D365 CRM & Custom Applications\nDesign and build integrations between D365 F&O and D365 CRM (Customer Engagement) using\ndual-write, virtual entities, or Dataverse, covering customers, invoices, payments, and account\nbalances.\nIntegrate F&O with the Chamber's custom applications (membership, certificate of origin, eservices\nportals) through OData, custom services, the Data Management Framework, Business\nEvents, and Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management).\nBuild and monitor batch jobs and recurring integrations; handle errors, retries, and data\nreconciliation between systems.\nExpose AR/AP data to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric (Synapse Link / Fabric Link) for dashboards\nand reporting.\nWork with SQL Server and Dataverse teams on data mapping, migration, and data quality.\n5. Support, Testing & Knowledge Transfer\nProvide L2/L3 support for AR/AP and integration incidents within agreed SLAs.\nPlan and run unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing; maintain test scripts.\nAssess and apply Microsoft One Version service updates and validate their impact on\ncustomizations.\nTrain finance users and key users, and write user guides and SOPs.\nCoordinate with Microsoft partners and vendors on enhancements and escalations.\nRequirements\nQualifications & skills\nEducation. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
