Come be part of our BBQ!\nRole Overview\nEssential Functions:\nEvaluates damaged item packaging and determines suitability for use elsewhere.\nRepackages, sorts, organizes, and consolidates damaged inventory.\nEnsures all damaged items staging areas in all warehouses are cleared out each day.\nMaintains sufficient levels of repackaging materials and records item quantities correctly in Deposco.\nPulls MISC or special orders from Damaged Inventory when requested.\nManage the distribution of incoming mail, packages, and deliveries\nAssists Retail Store with stocking.\nStages good inventory for movement to LTL or E-commerce, as necessary.\nStrives to have all repackageable inventory processed and transferred back into ‘good’ inventory.\nParticipates in damaged disposition and pending obsolete initiatives.\nBreaks down and palletizes empty boxes for disposal and keeps the damaged area organized and clear of trash.\nAssists with cycle counts in the Damaged area.\nWorks with the material handlers to reduce the number of damaged items caused by employees.\nCounts retail store.\nAssist in other areas as needed.\nQualifications Needed:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nWarehouse experience preferred\nPrior experience with Excel, Outlook, NetSuite, and/or Deposco preferred\nForklift certification desirable (Turret, Sit-down)\nAble to lift up to 75 pounds\nAvailable to work from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday\nFunctional Requirements:\nSitting: Frequently (Up to 75% of the time)\nTyping: Frequently (Up to 75% of the time)\nWalking and Standing: Occasionally (up to 25% of the time)\nLifting: Occasionally (up to 25% of the time)\nBending, kneeling, and crouching: Occasionally (Less than 25% of the time)\nWarehouse setting with machinery and lifts being used frequently\nRequires regular use of computer and sitting at a desk\nCompensation: Pay starts at $17.50/hr\nWeber Blackstone is an equal opportunity employer.
