EMA Coordinator

County of Blair is seeking an individual to oversee operations of the Emergency Management Department. This position:

• Directs the operations, organization, and preparedness of the County Emergency Management Agency.
• Ensures that said Agency effectively discharges all required duties and responsibilities during both peacetime and in periods of disaster.
• Maintains Agency compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.

Requirements

• Six years of experience in a public safety or emergency management environment, with at least one year of experience in a supervisory role, of which a maximum of four years of experience may be substituted with equivalent education.
• Must have, or complete within three years of hire, both basic and advanced emergency management certifications from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.
