Deine Aufgaben

  • Verantwortung für die Entwicklung von IoT-Systemen mit Fokus auf Embedded Software, Systemarchitektur und Integration von Hardware und Firmware
  • Architektur und Entwicklung von Embedded Software für unsere IoT-Produkte auf Mikrocontroller- und (optional) Linux-basierten Systemen, mit Fokus auf Robustheit, Effizienz und Skalierbarkeit
  • Technische Begleitung der Hardwareentwicklung in Zusammenarbeit mit externen Partnern; Review und Challenge von PCB-Designs hinsichtlich Funktionalität, Qualität und Herstellbarkeit
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Teams für Mechanik, Software und Cloud, um unsere Systeme nahtlos zu integrieren
  • Definition und Verfeinerung von Produktanforderungen vom Konzept bis zur Serienproduktion in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern
  • Entwicklung und Integration von Prototypen sowie Unterstützung bei der Überführung in die Serienproduktion in Abstimmung mit externen Partnern
  • Mitgestaltung und Weiterentwicklung unserer Embedded-Plattform, inkl. MCU- und (optional) Linux-/Yocto-basierter Komponenten
  • Aufbau pragmatischer Teststrategien zur Sicherstellung von Funktionalität und Zuverlässigkeit (Hardware & Firmware)
  • Unterstützung von Fertigungs- und Entwicklungspartnern bei Debugging, Dokumentation und beim Serienanlauf
  • Bereitstellung von technischem Support (Level 3) bei der Analyse und Behebung komplexer System-, Firmware- und Hardware-Problemen
  • Reisebereitschaft von 5-10% zur Unterstützung von Partnern, Validierungen und Produkteinführungen

Dein Profil

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Embedded Systems, Informatik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet (FH/ETH) - oder vergleichbare praktische Erfahrung
  • Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung in der Embedded-Entwicklung (Hardware-nah und Firmware)
  • Grundlegendes Verständnis von Hardware-Design und PCB-Layouts; in der Lage, Designentscheidungen kritisch zu hinterfragen und mit Hardware-Teams zusammenzuarbeiten
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Embedded-Firmware-Entwicklung und Softwarearchitektur für Mikrocontroller (z. B. ARM Cortex, ESP32, STM32)
  • Erfahrung mit Sensorintegration sowie drahtlosen Kommunikationsprotokollen wie BLE und WiFi
  • Erfahrung mit Embedded Linux Systemen (z. B. Yocto) von Vorteil, insbesondere im Umfeld von SoMs und Systemen mit MCU + Linux Layer
  • Ganzheitliches Systemverständnis, das Mechanik, Sensoren, Aktoren und deren Integration zu robusten IoT-Produkten umfasst
  • Praktische Erfahrung mit Hardware-Tests, Debugging-Tools und automatisierten Produktionstests
  • Erfahrung mit Zertifizierungsstandards (CE, FCC etc.) von Vorteil
  • Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch; weitere Sprachen sind von Vorteil
