The Executive Producer defines the on-screen, consumer-facing product of our ecosystems, balancing creative ambition with commercial and operational constraints.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, creative storyteller with experience of producing in esports, sports, or entertainment. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic planning with on-the-ground production, and will bring a strong vision for how esports products can engage fans and elevate competitive experiences.

  • Culture & Core Team Management: Lead and develop the ecosystem’s core team, fostering a collaborative, constructive and enjoyable culture.
  • Product Development & Budgeting: Own the creative vision, style, tone, quality and look-and-feel of the ecosystem, ensuring it delivers the BLAST standard. Work with the Programme Director to understand constraints and deploy on-screen budgets to maximise creative and commercial impact.
  • Oversee budget planning and financial tracking for content production, ensuring efficient resource allocation, accurate forecasting, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Client Management: Understand and respond to the objectives and requirements of game publishers and commercial partners, acting as a senior creative advocate for the ecosystem.
  • Event & Production Leadership: Own key on-screen event decisions, including stage design, artistic direction and show elements, while being accountable for venue and wider operational planning. Maintain quality control across all consumer-facing output.
  • Monitor performance of product across platforms, analyzing audience insights and feedback to inform future creative and strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4-6+ years in production within esports, sports, entertainment, or broadcast, with proven success managing end-to-end production cycles.
  • Creative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to ideate, pitch, and execute compelling content that drives fan engagement and elevates brand storytelling.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and planning skills, with experience managing multiple simultaneous projects across diverse teams and geographies.
