dynamic, multidisciplinary R&D department. \n\nThe Role\nAs Hydraulics Engineer, you will clearly interpret our medical device requirements and be responsible for originating design solutions for our prosthetic and orthotic product portfolio\n\nYou will act as the design authority, you will develop complex actuation systems, overseeing digital simulations\n\nKey duties:\nDesigning & implementing actuation systems directing architecture of hydraulic, electromechanical, valve & motor control solutions according to the technical requirements.\nUnderstanding Top-Down design principles, using digital analysis tools with a strong appreciation of FEA, fatigue and predictive CFD modelling to accelerate iterative design.\nLeading engineering activities from concept development through detailed design, validation, qualification, and certification.\nGenerating and evaluating detail engineering CAD geometry, demonstrating\naccurate design intends, simulating dynamic motion, limits/fits and \naccurately define methods of manufacture.\nLiaising with Systems engineering and clinical partners to capture user\nrequirements, executing work packages inside our product verification and \nvalidation procedures.\nProducing fully representative engineering drawings (BS 8888)\nwith complimentary GD&T and tolerance analysis techniques.\nOriginating and maintaining risk management documentation, (ISO 14971)\ncollaborating at design and project review meetings, comfortable \npresenting technical data, with recommended actions.\nProducing and maintaining technical documentation, in accordance with ISO\n13485, FDA and an excellent understanding of the MDR requirements\nAnalysing technical requirements, evaluate different approaches and support the selection of suitable technologies, materials and components. \n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nAs Hydraulics Engineer, you will have the following\n\nKey Skills & Experience:\n\nEssential:\nDegree in Mechanical Engineer or related field. \nProven experience operating within a CAD environment.\nExtensive experience operating within an R&D or engineering environment.\nExperience operating within a safety critical or highly regulated industry. \nExtensive experience with hydraulic or electrohydraulic systems. \nExperience in the application of GD&T principles. \nExcellent interpersonal communications skills,
