Services team, support our manufacturing and Head Office facilities in Basingstoke.\nThe Role \nAs Maintenance Electrician, you will provide an effective electrical maintenance service to the company by planning, organising, executing and completing electrical and general maintenance issues as they arise.\n\nKey duties.\nResponding to reactive and planned maintenance work as instructed.\nLiaising with sub-contractors to ensure work is carried out to specification as required using Risk Assessment, Method Statements and safe systems of work.\nInstalling and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and components of Facilities type machinery and equipment.\nConnecting & disconnecting power supplies to machines and equipment.\nDiagnosing equipment failure, utilising available O&M manuals and drawings.\nReplacing faulty electrical components as necessary.\nSupporting Facilities department as required within capability and training.\nResponding outside of standard for?\n\nTo be considered for the Maintenance Electrician role you will have the following:\n\nEssential skills and experience: \nElectrical Apprenticeship, or equivalent. \nCity and Guild and or BTEC, ONC or HNC qualification. \n18th edition wiring regulations qualified\nExperience in a similar electrical role in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience of working with both single and three phase systems.\nElectrical fault finding.\nChecking and testing of electrical motors of all types.\nCapable of reading electrical drawings.\nGood knowledge of health, safety & environmental
