Through technology, innovation and operational excellence, we help our clients deliver outstanding services to their customers.\nTo support our continued growth, we are expanding our international IT Change team and are looking for aEditorial Developer to join our Porto office.\nWhat will you do?\nAs an Editorial Developer in Porto, you will be part of the IT Change Editorial team, where you play a key role in delivering customer communications and document solutions used by thousands of mortgage customers in the Netherlands. Working with Tungsten Communications Manager (CCM), a leading Customer Communication Management platform, you will design, configure and maintain letter templates, reusable content components and document variants. You will translate business requirements into effective document solutions, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with regulatory standards. This role focuses primarily on low-code configuration, document composition and business-rule implementation rather than traditional software engineering. With a strong focus on quality and attention to detail, you will help deliver reliable and customer-friendly communications that support an excellent customer experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, configure and maintain letter templates and document variants in Tungsten CCM.\n\nTranslate business requirements into functional designs, business rules and document solutions.\n\nConfigure content components, variables and conditional logic to generate accurate customer communications.\n\nAnalyse the impact of changes on templates, document flows and business rules.\n\nCreate and maintain documentation for templates, configurations and document variants.\n\nTest and validate template changes to ensure quality and accuracy.\n\nSupport changes related to customer communications, Content Wizards, ModDocs and standard letters.\n\nCollaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders and IT teams in Porto and the Netherlands.\n\nSupport the analysis and resolution of incidents and defects related to document generation.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement by simplifying templates and improving maintainability.\n\nEnsure changes are properly documented, traceable and compliant with agreed standards.\n\nThis is you\nYou have a strong eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality customer communications. You enjoy analysing complex requirements and translating them into practical, maintainable solutions. You work in a structured and accurate way, take ownership of your work and are always looking for opportunities to improve. As a proactive team player, you collaborate effectively with both business and technical colleagues and feel comfortable working in an international environment.\nRequirements\nWhat do you need for this position ?\nA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Communication Technology or a related field.\n\nRelevant experience in an ICT organization, application configuration role, low-code development role or document/template management environment.\n\nAffinity with low-code/configuration-based development, structured business rules and conditional document logic.\n\nAbility to translate business requirements into functional designs, configuration choices and maintainable templates.\n\nExperience with testing, defect analysis and structured change documentation.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with Customer Communication Management (CCM), document composition, template configuration or similar tooling.\n\nExperience working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe.\n\nExperience working with Jira.\n\nExperience working in an international environment.\n\nGood command of Dutch, as many customer communications, templates and business rules are managed in Dutch.\n\nAt Quion, we believe growth never stops.
