The Deployment Manager ensures each release is ready to deploy, dependencies and risks are understood, and all required activities are coordinated through go-live and stabilization.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the integrated deployment plan across business and technology workstreams.\nDrive deployment readiness across environments, data, integrations, testing, training, communications, cutover, and support.\nCoordinate dependencies across application teams, infrastructure, vendors, business teams, and other programs.\nEstablish and manage deployment milestones, entry/exit criteria, and readiness checkpoints.\nFacilitate deployment readiness reviews and provide a clear view of risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.\nOwn the cutover plan, including sequencing, ownership, timing, dependencies, contingency planning, and command-center readiness.\nEnsure open defects, technical issues, and operational risks are understood and appropriately incorporated into deployment decisions.\nCoordinate Go/No-Go preparation and ensure decision-makers have a concise, fact-based readiness view.\nDrive resolution and escalation of deployment blockers.\nCoordinate go-live execution and transition into hypercare/stabilization.\nCapture lessons learned and continuously improve the deployment approach across releases.\n\nWhat This Role Owns vs. Partners On\nDeployment Manager owns\nPartners with\nIntegrated deployment plan\nProgram / Project Managers\nDeployment milestones\nProduct & Business teams\nCross-workstream deployment dependencies\nTechnical Integration PM\nReadiness governance\nQA / Testing\nCutover planning & coordination\nRelease / Engineering teams\nGo/No-Go readiness view\nChange, Training & Communications\nDeployment risks & escalations\nBusiness Operations\nGo-live coordination\nService / Support teams\nHypercare coordination\nWorkstream leads\n\nSuccess Measures\nDeployment plans are integrated, current, and understood across workstreams.\nCritical dependencies and risks are identified early and actively managed.\nReadiness is transparent ahead of Go/No-Go decisions.\nCutover activities have clear owners, timing, and dependencies.\nDeployments move into production with appropriate business and technical readiness.\nIssues during go-live and stabilization are rapidly coordinated and resolved.\nExperience / Capabilities\nStrong experience managing complex enterprise deployments or releases.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate across business and technical teams.\nStrong integrated planning, dependency management, risk management, and executive communication skills.\nExperience with cutover, release readiness, Go/No-Go governance, and production stabilization.\nComfortable operating across multiple workstreams without replacing the accountability of individual workstream owners.\nStrong facilitation skills with the ability to drive decisions and escalate effectively.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nScope of role:\nProject: Typically manages medium to large projects and/ or part of programs.\n\nThe primary focus of each role can be different depending on the role but may include some combination of each of the responsibilities outlined below. Career progression does not require demonstration of all accountabilities below.\n\nDelivery and Execution:\nCoordinates and executes team activities following appropriate implementation plans. This may include scope, goals, scheduling, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management.\n\nPlanning and Alignment:\nIdentifies budget and resource requirements.\nDevelops plans and timelines and ensures all team members understand overall objectives of the work.\nExecutes on plans to improve productivity, contain cost, and improve performance.\n\nStatus Updates and Progress:\nMonitors work progress based on estimated time to complete delegated deliverables.\nAssesses bottlenecks in work processes and communicates issues to senior management.\n\nCollaboration:\nWorks with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute defined assignments, builds, and maintains relationships.\n\nChange Management:\nCollates input on impact of change to develop change strategy and plan.\nPrepares communications on change impact.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
