The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. \n\nHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and five or more years of experience performing and coordinating yard or warehousing activities, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nCOMPETENCIES\nAdvanced knowledge of warehouse operations and handling of all machinery and equipment; maintains certification to operate such if required.\nAbility to plan and coordinate work processes to maintain and increase manpower and equipment efficiency\nCommunication skills sufficient to speak before teams and work groups to explain work rules, product standards and productivity goals\nAbility to read and write work schedules and reports\nKnowledge of basic math, counting and estimating\nCustomer service orientation\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nProficient in Dayforce preferred\nProficient in DDMS preferred\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
