This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday during daytime hours, with a competitive package based on your skills and experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing hands-on procurement support within a project environment, managing activities from project requirements through to successful delivery.

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned projects
  • Translate project requirements into procurement plans and purchasing activities
  • Coordinate purchasing and deliveries in line with project schedules and operational needs
  • Manage supplier relationships, including pricing, delivery schedules and commercial conditions
  • Work closely with Category Managers to achieve strong commercial outcomes
  • Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost and delivery, addressing risks and issues proactively
  • Coordinate with project teams, site management and suppliers to ensure key milestones are achieved
  • Support installation, commissioning and project handover activities where required
  • Manage open orders, backorders and delayed deliveries

Profile:

Project Procurement:

Hands-on experience supporting procurement activities within a project environment, with the ability to manage procurement requirements from planning through to delivery.

Technical Procurement:

A specific interest in and/or experience of technical, asset, building or facilities-related procurement.

Supplier & Commercial Management

Strong supplier coordination and commercial skills, with the ability to manage project-specific pricing, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.

Project Delivery:

Able to work closely with project teams, site management and suppliers to coordinate purchasing and deliveries, manage risks and support key project milestones.

Stakeholder Management:

Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, Category Managers and external suppliers.

Problem Solving:

A proactive and hands-on approach to identifying and resolving supply, delivery and supplier performance issues.
