For more information, visit www.blend360.com\n As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will take a hands-on approach to designing and developing scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions, with a strong focus on C# and SQL for backend development while leveraging AWS to build and optimize cloud-native applications. You will be working with a diverse team of talented Engineers immersed in the private investment banking space.\nYou will contribute to data migrations, system integrations, and reporting solutions while helping modernize critical business processes. Beyond implementation, you will be expected to apply strong software design and architecture principles, evaluate technical trade-offs, and clearly communicate the reasoning behind design decisions.\nYou will:\nDevelop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using C# and SQL.\nDesign robust software solutions, evaluating architectural approaches and technical trade-offs based on business and system requirements.\nBuild and optimize cloud-native applications and services using AWS.\nHandle complex data migrations and transformations across multiple systems.\nRebuild, maintain, and enhance system integrations with internal and external platforms.\nContribute to reporting and analytics solutions leveraging Snowflake and related technologies.\nWork independently in a dynamic environment, solving complex technical challenges with minimal oversight.\nCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.\nClearly communicate technical decisions and the reasoning behind software design and architecture choices.\nContribute to a collaborative engineering culture by being open to feedback, constructively challenging ideas, and supporting other team members.\nStay up to date with industry trends and engineering best practices, continuously improving development processes and solution quality.\n Qualifications\nStudies in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\nProficiency in C# for backend development.\nStrong knowledge of SQL, including database design and query optimization.\nExperience working with AWS and cloud-based architectures.\nFamiliarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.\nKnowledge of Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.\nExperience with SQL Server and database administration.\nStrong software design and architecture skills, with the ability to structure solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and clearly explain the reasoning behind technical decisions.\nExposure to React and TypeScript, with the ability to contribute to frontend tasks when needed.\nExperience with Python for scripting, automation, or data processing is a plus.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\nA positive and collaborative attitude, with openness to feedback, comfort with constructive challenges, and willingness to support and help others.\nWhat about languages?\nYou will need excellent written and verbal English to communicate clearly and effectively with the team.\nHow much experience must I have?\nWe’re looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in similar software engineering roles.\n Our perks and benefits:\nEvery day lunches!
