For more information, visit www.blend360.com\nWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.\nWhat is this position about?\nThis is a hybrid role split evenly between hands-on software development and internal developer enablement. The engineer will act as a force multiplier for engineering teams by reducing friction across the development lifecycle, providing clear and opinionated guidance, and improving internal tooling.\n Contribute to engineering initiatives as a full software developer, delivering production-quality features and services.\nWrite, review, test, and maintain clean, reliable, and scalable code following standard engineering workflows (PRs, code reviews, CI/testing).\nProvide internal developer support by answering specialized, contextual questions across the engineering ecosystem (tooling, libraries, standards, and patterns).\nGuide engineers on local development environment setup, Unix/Bash workflows, and day-to-day tooling usage.\nAdvise teams on internal tools and frameworks, clearly explaining technical trade-offs and recommending best paths forward.\nIdentify repetitive friction points and automate workflows through scripts, templates, and improved tooling.\nPartner with the team to embed AI know-how into the company’s AI coding tools (e.g., Claude) and enable smarter developer experiences.\nContribute to infrastructure-as-code and internal platform efforts using Terraform, especially in AWS-based environments.\nHelp teams make identity/security framework decisions (e.g., Okta, Auth0) based on use case and organizational standards.\nOperate effectively in ambiguous environments, establishing clarity where documentation or standards don’t yet exist.\n 5-6 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong fundamentals and the confidence to provide clear, opinionated guidance.\nStrong proficiency in .NET, with the flexibility to work in languages outside their core stack when the work requires it.\nStrong software design and architecture skills: able to structure solutions, weigh trade-offs, and explain the reasoning behind design decisions.\nStrong focus on testing as part of the development workflow, not as an afterthought.\nDemonstrated ability to act as an internal consultant: diagnose problems quickly, communicate trade-offs, and recommend solutions.\nStrong communication skills (written and verbal), with a coaching/mentoring mindset.\nPositive, collaborative attitude: open to feedback, comfortable being challenged, and willing to help others.\nProactive and independent: naturally seeks opportunities to improve, automate, and simplify.\nComfortable switching between deep technical work and developer support without losing momentum.\nNice to Have\nExposure to AWS architecture, but not required to be an AWS expert (dedicated architecture expertise exists within the team).\nWhat about languages?\nYou will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team.\nHow much experience must I have?\nIn order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.\n Our Perks and Benefits\nLearning Opportunities:\nCertifications in AWS (we are AWS Partners), Databricks, and Snowflake.\nAccess to AI learning paths to stay up to date with the latest technologies.\nStudy plans, courses, and additional certifications tailored to your role.\nAccess to Udemy Business, offering thousands of courses to boost your technical and soft skills.\nEnglish lessons to support your professional communication.\nTravel opportunities to attend industry conferences and meet clients.\nMentoring and Development:\nCareer development plans and mentorship programs to help shape your path.\nCelebrations & Support:\nSpecial day rewards to celebrate birthdays, work anniversaries, and other personal milestones.\nCompany-provided equipment. \nFlexible working options to help you strike the right balance.\nOther benefits may vary according to your location in LATAM.
