The Retail Store Van Driver will do this by transporting finished framed and unframed customer art between the seller and maker stores safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and all company policies and procedures.\nResponsibilities Include:\nTransports framed and unframed customer artwork and other retail store related items, taking care that no damage occurs to the pieces during transit.\nPerforming pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.\nMaintaining accurate records of trips and deliveries.\nCommunicating with store management and Custom Services personnel.\nKeeping the vehicle clean and in good condition, including ensuring regular maintenance is performed and all vehicle documentation is up to date.\nLoad and unload items into and out of the vehicle.\nWhen not performing driving responsibilities, this individual would be expected to assume the role and responsibilities of a sales associate. This work will include customer engagement, stock work, and the other responsibilities associated with our sales associate role.\nGeneral Requirements:\nPositive, eager, solution-oriented, professional attitude.\nAbility to work both independently and in a team environment.\nExcellent communication skills.\nAdheres to Blick Dress Code.\nA valid driver’s license.\nExperience in driving non-CDL vehicles.\nFamiliarity with GPS and navigation systems.\nScheduling Requirements:\nAvailability to work flexible schedules including day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays as required by the needs of the business.\nRegular attendance in accordance with the retail attendance policy.\nAssociates in this role are scheduled an average of 15 - 25 hours per week based on availability and the needs of the business\nCompetencies:\nElevates Service Standards\nLeadership\nChampions Core Values\nPeople\nOperations\nSupervisory Responsibility:\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to lift and carry 50 pounds while using the appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules.\nProlonged walking, standing, and climbing ladders.\nTravel:\nTravel in the local area required.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Graduate or equivalent.\nOther Duties:\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the associate for this job.
