The successful candidate will help identify financial risks, prevent fraud, and recommend improvements to hotel operations.\nKey ResponsibilitiesConduct regular audits of hotel financial records, transactions, and operational activities\nReview daily sales, revenue, expenses, purchases, payments, and receipts\nVerify cash collections from Front Office, Restaurant, Bar, POS, and other revenue-generating departments\nReconcile cash, bank, POS, and other payment records\nMonitor inventory, stock movements, purchases, and consumption to identify discrepancies\nReview hotel expenses and ensure proper authorization and documentation\nCheck compliance with established hotel policies, procedures, and financial controls\nIdentify irregularities, errors, waste, fraud risks, and financial discrepancies\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports for management\nFollow up on previous audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented\nConduct surprise cash and stock checks when necessary\nWork closely with Finance, Accounts, Front Office, Procurement, and Food & Beverage departments\nMaintain proper audit documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial information\nProvide recommendations to management on improving internal controls and operational efficiency\nRequirementsEducation: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field. Professional accounting qualifications such as ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, or relevant certification will be an advantage.\nExperience: 5–15 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, accounting, or financial control. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality industry highly desirable.
