You're as comfortable reviewing a pull request or debugging an integration as you are presenting a transformation roadmap to a VP of Engineering. You bring structure and accountability to delivery without sacrificing the speed and adaptability that make Blitzy different.\nResponsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Delivery\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of Forward Deployed Software Engineers embedded across customer environments\n\nSet standards for customer engagement, and delivery rigor across all active accounts and engineering quality\n\nServe as the senior technical escalation point for complex integration or delivery challenges\n\nBalance multiple concurrent engagements, ensuring each is appropriately scoped and resourced\n\nCustomer Partnership\nOwn senior relationships at key accounts, engaging primarily at the VP Engineering and Director level\n\nParticipate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, and technical decision-making alongside customer teams\n\nLead business reviews that translate technical delivery progress into measurable business outcomes\n\nSupport pre-sales efforts for new enterprise accounts by bringing delivery credibility to the conversation\n\nHands-On Technical Contribution\nStay technically engaged - review code, contribute to integrations, and debug complex issues when the situation demands it\n\nBuild and maintain reusable delivery assets, integration patterns, and best practices across the team\n\nDevelop technical demos and POC frameworks that accelerate customer adoption of Blitzy's platform\n\nStrategic & Organizational Impact\nPartner with Product, Sales, and executive leadership to define the growth strategy for the FDE function\n\nEstablish delivery frameworks and feedback loops that drive continuous improvement across engagements\n\nContribute field intelligence that shapes product prioritization and enterprise go-to-market strategy\n\nContribute to thought leadership, documentation, and reusable delivery IP\n\nQualifications\nProven experience leading teams in customer-facing, embedded, or professional services engineering environments\n\nProven experience standing up a delivery framework from scratch\n\n10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership capacity\n\nFluency across the modern enterprise technology stack: cloud infrastructure, APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and AI/ML integration\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage delivery across multiple concurrent enterprise engagements\n\nStrong communication skills - able to engage credibly from engineer to VP, adapting your style to the audience\n\nExperience with IDEs - code-assistant tools within software development workflows\n\nExperience at a high-growth startup or in a Forward Deployed Engineering, embedded consulting, or technical account management role\n\nBackground in AI/ML platforms, developer tooling, or enterprise software modernization\n\nTrack record of building and scaling small-to-mid-sized technical teams in outcome-driven environments\n\nHistory of converting delivery excellence into account expansion and long-term partnerships\n\nTechnical thought leadership: open source contributions, conference talks, or published writing\n\nCompensation: $240,000 - $315,000 + Bonus + Equity\nBlitzy is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
