Mobile Lead

JOB OBJECTIVE The Mobile Development Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and JavaScript. This role requires hands-on development expertise, leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to delivering exceptional mobile experiences. A good understanding of Linux OS is essential for managing development environments, troubleshooting, and deployment workflows. The Mobile Development Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of scalable, user-friendly applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Including but not limited to)

Technical Leadership:

· Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of robust cross-platform

mobile applications using Flutter.

· Establish and enforce mobile development best practices, focusing on code quality, performance, and scalability.

· Apply Linux OS knowledge to manage development workflows and troubleshoot basic system-level issues.

Team Management & Mentorship:

·Manage and mentor a team of mobile developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

·Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and project guidelines.

·Guide the team in solving technical challenges and implementing innovative solutions.

Mobile Development:

·Build reusable, modular, and responsive mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.

·Utilize JavaScript for hybrid features, integrations, or backend services as needed.

·Develop custom widgets and animations to enhance user experience.

Linux OS & System Support:

· Utilize Linux OS for basic tasks such as environment setup, file management, and development pipeline support.

· Leverage Linux-based tools for efficient builds, testing, and deployments.

·Troubleshoot minor system-level issues to ensure smooth development processes

Collaboration & Project Management:

·Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional and visually appealing applications

· Work with backend teams to integrate APIs and third-party services.

·Break down project requirements into tasks and ensure timely feature delivery.

Testing & Deployment:

·Implement and maintain robust testing processes, including unit and integration tests.

·Manage app deployment processes for iOS and Android platforms.

·Monitor app performance and resolve issues post-launch.

Documentation & Version Control:

·Maintain clear, detailed documentation for mobile application architecture and development workflows.

.Ensure effective use of version control systems (e.g., Git) to maintain well-organized repositories.

-Education:

-Bachelors/master’s in computer science or computer engineering.

-Certifications in Flutter, JavaScript frameworks, or Linux OS are a plus.

Skills:

Technical:

• 4-6 years of experience in mobile application development with strong expertise in Flutter and Dart.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with related frameworks or libraries.
• Good knowledge of Linux OS,including basic commands, shell scripting, and system navigation..
• Experience with state management in Flutter (e.g., BLoC, Provider) and architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM).
• Proficiency in API integration (RESTful APIs, GraphQL) and third-party SDKs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of animations, custom widget development, and Material Design principles in Flutter..
