We’re changing this by enabling all consumers to instantly receive credit within minutes at their favorite merchants.\nJob Scope:\nThe Senior Testing Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of blnk’s consumer finance products across mobile applications and backend services. The role covers manual and automated testing of mobile apps and APIs, validates data integrity at the database level, and works closely with product and engineering teams to detect defects early and deliver stable, high-quality releases to customers.\nKey Accountabilities:\nAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate them into test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases.\nPerform manual functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of mobile applications and APIs.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and API testing, and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.\nValidate data integrity and backend operations using database queries.\nConduct performance and load testing of critical services, preferably using JMeter.\nReport defects clearly with steps to reproduce, track them to resolution, and verify fixes before release.\nAssess release readiness and provide clear test reports and quality status to the team and management.\nSupport the investigation of production issues and update test coverage accordingly.\nQualifications, Experience, and Skills:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nISTQB certification is a plus.\nExperience:\n3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.\nExperience with fintech or consumer-facing applications is preferred.\nProven experience testing mobile applications and APIs in an Agile environment.\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong manual testing skills, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.\nHands-on experience with mobile and API test automation using tools such as Appium and Postman/REST Assured.\nGood knowledge of a programming language for automation, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.\nProficiency with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira.\nExperience testing on both Android and iOS platforms, including real devices and emulators.\nGood knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation.\nExperience with JMeter for performance testing is preferred.\nExperience with Git and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is preferred.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nClear communication in Arabic and English, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.\nOwnership of quality and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced
