developers and test engineers to deliver successful, business-critical applications.\n\nPrincipal Performance Test Engineer to join our hardworking Performance Engineering team.\n\nThe Performance methods.\n\nThey will work hand-in-hand with developers and test engineers to deliver hard-working, business-critical applications.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nCoordination / leadership of performance team and external team members, e.g. product, development, DBA, middleware, network\n\nAssist in the development of estimates for projects\n\nAssist with resource assignments and coordinate between teams at multiple locations to ensure on time delivery of projects\n\nWork with product and development teams to define and maintain non-functional requirements to work into test plans\n\nDeliver effective performance analysis, reporting and presentations to collaborators (business, development)\n\nPerform the analysis of relationships between the non-functional requirements and key performance metrics\n\nCoordinate solving of infrastructure and application issues\n\nConduct root cause analysis of performance issues and bottlenecks\n\nDefect tracking and reporting\n\nWork closely with application development and other technical teams to ensure that defects are dealt with in a timely and professional manner\n\nDevelop and maintain statistical models of key performance metrics\n\nConstruct and maintain analytical models of applications/systems\n\nProactively identify areas for further research and analysis\n\nLead and participate in knowledge sharing activities\n\nMitigate risk by following established procedures and supervising controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with Masters or equivalent experience\n\nMinimum of 7 years of related experience\n\nMinimum of 6 years of experience in performance engineering (analysis, testing, and tuning)\n\nMinimum of 4 years of experience developing n-tier, J2EE software applications\n\nMinimum of 4 years of experience working in Unix or Linux environments\n\nExpertise in performance analysis of distributed platforms including Linux, Windows, AWS, Containers and VMware (tools: TeamQuest, OMi, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk)\n\nExtensive knowledge of the functionality and performance aspects of the above computing platforms\n\nExperience in advanced statistical and analytical modeling\n\nExcellent analytical skills including:\n\nData exploration, analysis and presentation using descriptive statistics and graphical techniques\n\nTime series analysis and forecasting\n\nKey Performance and Volume metrics relationship modeling\n\nUnderstanding of queuing networks modeling and simulation modeling concepts and experience with one of the industry standard analytic modeling tools TeamQuest, Metron-Athenee, HyPerformix, and BMC\n\nExpertise in load testing tools, such as JMeter, LoadRunner etc.\n\nExperience in scripting (Perl, Unix shell, Python, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins)\n\nExperience using JMS/IBM-MQ messaging system\n\nUnderstanding of RESTful web service, JSON, and XML\n\nExperience in Relational Databases, preferably Oracle\n\nExperience working with AWS services (Kinesis, Elastic Beanstalk, Cloudwatch, Lambda, etc)\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipeline implementations, including testing, using Jenkins or similar tool\n\nExpert MS Office skills.
