You’ll play a key leadership role in preparing the company for public market compliance and overseeing the annual and quarterly consolidated financial audit process.\nThis position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be at the forefront of Bitcoin's mainstream adoption while building expertise in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency accounting landscape.\nWhat You Will Be Doing (Responsibilities):\nLead the preparation, coordination, and review of the month-end close process.\n\nSupport the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.\n\nManage accounting requests related to tax compliance, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting.\n\nPrepare and review periodic financial statement fluctuation (flux) analyses on a month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter basis.\n\nPrepare and review monthly general ledger account reconciliations.\n\nAssist with the consolidation of foreign subsidiaries and intercompany eliminations.\n\nCoordinate with external auditors in connection with PCAOB audits, including audit procedures related to Bitcoin custody controls and blockchain reconciliations.\n\nSupport the design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of internal controls, including quarterly control compliance.\n\nSupport the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with the U.S. GAAP.\n\nMonitoring the new U.S. GAAP accounting pronouncements and support the implementation of applicable standards.\n\nSupport SOX compliance initiatives, CECL modeling, mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity transactions.\n\nWhat We Look For In You (Required Qualifications):\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and CPA certification required.\n\n5-7 years of relevant accounting experience with the U.S. GAAP experience, public accounting, and cryptocurrency/fintech a plus.\n\nStrong knowledge of the U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, financial reporting standards, and memo creation.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets to support SEC filings and disclosure preparation.\n\nExperience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.\n\nProven ability to implement new accounting standards and complex reporting processes.\n\nExcellent analytical, project management, and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nNice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications):\nBig 4 or national firm experience with focus on financial services or technology clients.\n\nIndustry exposure with experience leading an accounting team and closing books on a timely basis.\n\nExperience with multi-business unit companies and segment reporting\n\nPrevious SOX compliance experience.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 USD, depending on skills and experience.
