As a QA Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing test strategies, mentoring QA engineers, and working cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to maintain high-quality standards.\nWhat You Will Be Doing (Responsibilities):\nLead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Engineers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.\n\nDefine and oversee the implementation of test strategies, ensuring coverage for functional, performance, security, and regression testing.\n\nDesign and maintain automated testing frameworks for blockchain-based applications and APIs.\n\nEstablish best practices for QA processes and continuously improve testing methodologies to enhance product quality.\n\nWork closely with developers to review features, identify testability concerns, and ensure proper validation of new functionalities.\n\nManage bug tracking and reporting processes, ensuring timely resolution of defects.\n\nCoordinate with DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and optimize execution in cloud-based environments.\n\nStay updated with blockchain and fintech QA trends, security vulnerabilities, and best practices.\n\nCommunicate QA metrics, progress, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.\n\nWhat We Look For In You (Required Qualifications):\n5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role; preferably in fintech, blockchain, or security-focused industries.\n\nStrong background in automation testing frameworks and methodologies.\n\nDeep understanding of Bitcoin and blockchain technology.\n\nExperience with API testing tools and scripting languages.\n\nKnowledge of security testing methodologies, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.\n\nHands-on experience with performance testing tools.\n\nProven ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first, and collaborative environment.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.\n\nExcellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.\n\nStay Safe from Job Scams\nAll official Blockstream communication will come from an @blockstream.com email address.
