In this role, you'll help run and improve the systems that trade our capital.\nWe trade crypto derivatives and spot markets across global venues, 24/7. Our traders don't just watch the systems. We're growing fast and expanding into new markets.\nOur traders work side by side with quantitative researchers and engineers. Research, engineering, and trading happen a few meters apart, so the path from a market read to live PnL is short.\nWhat will you do?\nYou'll be responsible for our day-to-day trading operations, from running the automated systems to managing positions to shaping the strategies that come next.\nYou will:\nRun the systems. Monitor and operate our automated trading systems and dashboards in live markets.\n\nTune the pricing. Adjust pricing and parameters as market behavior shifts.\n\nOwn the risk. Manage positions and the risk that comes with them.\n\nBuild new strategies. Develop and deploy new strategies together with quantitative researchers and engineers.\n\nSpot what’s next. Research new business opportunities and stay on top of market news and changes.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nYou'll need:\nA strong academic background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics, or computer science.\n\nProficiency in Python.\n\nFocus and composure behind the screen when markets get busy.\n\nA strong sense of ownership and excellent collaboration skills.\n\nBonus points for:\nProfessional trading experience at a high-frequency trading firm\n\nPay, location, and relocation\nCompensation: a competitive base salary plus a very attractive performance bonus based on individual and company results.\n\nTrading fund: strong performers get the opportunity to buy into the trading fund.\n\nLocation: On-site on our trading floor in Amsterdam\n\nVisa: BlockTech sponsors the Dutch highly skilled migrant visa.\n\nRelocation: All-in relocation package and Dutch classes for international hires.
