We never stop striving to improve our technology, to expand and improve our company performance, and to develop and support the many talented employees that serve our mission!\nWe are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Supervisor, Engineering and will be based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role five days a week.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nTroubleshoot and repair all downed machines in Stack Manufacturing\n\nPerforms machine installations or modifications as per instructed\n\nExecute preventive maintenance schedules\n\nReview spares inventory and inform spares team when spare parts are used\n\nBe able evaluate equipment and create maintenance procedures and error logs about said equipment (high need)\n\nSuggest improvements for tool set\n\nImplement engineering upgrades to machines\n\nSupport equipment testing group\n\nEnsure proper LOTO compliance\n\nBe able to lift 50lbs as needed\n\nBe able to maneuver into tight places or on the ground as needed to perform repairs\n\nBe able to stand, crouch, kneel, bend over or any other out of normal position for extended periods of time to perform repairs\n\nBe able to stand or walk for extended periods of time to perform maintenance duties in a large manufacturing facility\n\nBe able to use a PC and programs such as: outlook, MS word, MS excel, CMMS software\n\nSkills and Experience:\nMinimal level 3 yrs experience in manufacturing environment preferred\n\nWell rounded in mechanical systems and experience such as: Pneumatics, vacuum systems, motor alignment, hoists, etc.\n\nWell rounded in electrical (up to 480VAC) experience and systems: VFD’s, motor/encoder systems, high temperature systems (highly valued), etc.\n\nExperience with high temperature systems up to 1200C\n\nPLC & Automation Experience!!\n\nMIG, TIG & Arc welding experience a plus\n\nTool & Die - precision measurement and adjustment skills including laser measurements\nExperience with Rolling Hearth Kilns (RHKs) - Maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs\n\nExperience repairing machinery in a high volume manufacturing atmosphere\nSuperior communication skills, (written, verbal and active listening.)\n\nIntermediate skill level with MS word and excel. Power point proficiency a plus\n\nHighly motivated self-starter, capable of self management with little to no oversight is a must!!!
