This role will report toSr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role working Weekend Shift hours (Friday - Sunday, 6AM-6PM).\nRole and Responsibilities:\nCreate and maintain a highly technical, fast-paced Equipment Maintenance Team\nCreate a strategy for Corrective, Preventative, and Predictive Maintenance in support of BMCD Manufacturing Operations\nAdvise on new equipment required to enable business growth\nEvaluates systems/machines and determines maintenance or repairs that need to be performed\nWork in collaboration with Engineering Leadership and Facilities Management to plan work priorities, obtain necessary permissions, and assess resources to needed to complete tasks\nPrioritize work assignments and delegate tasks based on team members’ skills and experience\nCreate a paradigm for tracking relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. safety, cost, task completion time, etc.) and have this information available to key stakeholders (i.e. dashboards)\nEnsure maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently and on budget\nAdvise key stakeholders on technical concerns, or complicated concepts, associated with production and testing equipment\nTrain team members and track performance\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nSkills and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred\n4-6 years of relevant experience in facilities/maintenance management/building operations maintenance with at least 3 years of hands on supervisory/leadership experience.\nHands on practical knowledge of the technical aspects production and facilities equipment\nIn depth knowledge of systems, tools, and procedures utilized in equipment maintenance\nKnowledge of OSHA and other regulations, specifically those pertaining to work-place safety, occupational hazards, electrical safety procedures (NFPA 70E)\nComputer systems knowledge including proficiency with MS Office programs\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment preferred\nAbility to learn and use maintenance computer software to initiate and track work orders\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\nAbility to work effectively with all levels within the organization and with those outside the organization\nStrong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships\nStrong leadership skills and demonstrated leadership acumen\nTeam player with the ability to make impacts cross-functionally\nAble to identify and solve complex problems requiring independent judgement and action\nComputer Programming and PLC experience (preferred)\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift\nOccasionally lift/carry up to 25-50 lbs\nUse hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift\nVisual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials\nHearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff\nAbility to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation\nMust wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots).\nBloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
