We believe that, together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future while tackling the most pressing challenges of the 21st century.\nWe are looking for an Industrial Electrical Technician to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report toEquipment Engineering Manager and based in Newark DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role working Weekend shift hours (Friday-Sunday 6AM-6PM).\nRole and Responsibilities:\nPerform routine Inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems associated with the manufacturing process.\nSupport the installation, calibration, and maintenance of sensors, actuators, and motor controls.\nAnalyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.\nAssist in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, PLC’s and control panels for manufacturing equipment.\nAssist in documentation, including wiring diagrams, test reports, and standard operating procedures.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all electrical and automation tasks.\nAssist in test system startup procedures.\nMake recommendations for electrical layout improvements.\nDevelop BOM’s and spare parts lists for critical systems and equipment.\nSkills and Experience:\n5-8 years of electrical or electronic technician experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in maintenance, equipment and industrial repair.\nLeadership experience.\nKnowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems.\nFamiliarity with electrical circuits, motor controls, and industrial automation.\nBasic understanding of PLC’s, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems. Electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics and robotics.\nKnowledge of MS Office suite.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nDemonstrates competency in written and verbal English communications to understand safety protocols, hazard communications, and standard operational procedures (SOPs) required to ensure the safety of the employee and others on the manufacturing floor.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift.\nOccasionally lift/carry up to 25-50 lbs.\nUse hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift.\nVisual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials.\nHearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff.\nAbility to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.\nMust wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots).\nBloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
