This role will report toManufacturing Trainer and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role 4 days a week.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nConduct Assembly Skills training for manufacturing team members\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement ideas for the skills training center\nIdentify future skills training needs and work with the team to develop new training courses for skills training center\nMaintain skills matrix and training records for team members (training document control)\nWork with the production team to develop cross-training plans for manufacturing team members and support additional skills training as needed\nCoordinate on-the-job training for new process training (new hire or cross-training)\nConduct training audits monthly\nWork with production team to create and conduct on-the-floor lean trainings\nSupport Lean Training curriculum\nOther duties as assigned\nSkills and Experience:\n2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing or operations/materials management role\n1+ years of experience in On-the-Job training using the JIT (Job Instruction Training) methodology\nStrong organization skills\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently\nAbility to collaborate cross functionally to complete initiatives\nStrong verbal, listening, presentation and written communications skills\nProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and in person training experience preferred\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift\nNavigate the facility throughout the day\nOccasionally lift/carry up to 25-50 lbs.\nUse hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift\nVisual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials\nHearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff\nAbility to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation\nDemonstrates competency in written and verbal English communications to understand safety protocols, hazard communications, and standard operational procedures (SOPs) required to ensure the safety of the employee and others on the manufacturing floor\nBloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
