This role will report to Sr. Director, Development Engineering.\nLocation: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose, CA\nRole and Responsibilities:\nConduct CFD for next generation product development.\nAccelerate model predictions and improvement, integrating data and AI tools into physics-based modeling.\nWork in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely inputs with accurate predictions.\nCollaborate with Cross-functional teams on a regular basis, for model validations and performance optimization.\nProvide regular guidance for Product development, from concept to production.\nReport and present results/recommendations across diverse groups.\nSkills and Experience:\nMS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.\nDeep understanding of the fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and CFD.\n3+ years of industry experience utilizing CFD.\nHighly skilled in CFD tools: ANSYS Fluent/Star-CCM+\nAble to utilize first principles for quick calculations and CFD models.\nFamiliarity with Python, Data Analysis tools are a plus.\nAble to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nSelf-starter and a quick learner.\nFor more information visit: www.bloomenergy.com and view a video on What Powers Us!\nBloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
