This role will report toSenior Manager, Metrology and Data Analytics and based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions that support manufacturing and engineering teams.\n\nBuild and maintain curated datasets and data products that enable reliable reporting, visualization, and self-service analytics.\n\nDevelop software and automation tools in support of manufacturing operations, engineering workflows, and data collection systems.\n\nDevelop and support MES and manufacturing software solutions, including Ignition Perspective screens, custom functionality, and system integrations, in collaboration with IT and external system integrators.\n\nDesign and implement solutions for storing, visualizing, and analyzing metrology and image-based inspection data.\n\nApply software engineering best practices including version control, testing, documentation, and code review.\n\nSkills and Experience:\nRequired:\nExpert proficiency in Python for software development, automation, and data processing.\n\nExpert proficiency in SQL and relational database design.\n\nExperience designing and supporting production data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.\n\nExperience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, and QuickSight.\n\nExperience with Ignition and Sepasoft MES platforms.\n\nExperience with source control tools such as Git and collaborative software development workflows.\n\nDemonstrated ability to independently lead the technical execution of complex, cross-functional projects from requirements through deployment.\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n\nPreferred:\nExperience with manufacturing, quality, metrology, or industrial automation systems.\n\nExperience with modern data transformation and data modeling tools such as dbt.\n\nExperience working with image data, computer vision, or image analysis applications.\n\nExperience developing web-based applications, dashboards, or user interfaces.\n\nBloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
