We never stop striving to improve our technology, to expand and improve our company performance, and to develop and support the many talented employees that serve our mission!\nWe are looking for a Customer Proposals Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Proposals Operations Leader. This role is facility based in our office inNewark, DE OR Huston, TX.\nRole and Responsibilities:\n1. Proposal Development:\nCollaborate with front-end sales teams to gather project requirements and objectives during each contractual phase.\nCoordinate project milestones throughout escalating phases of proposal maturity.\nPrepare comprehensive site information package and conceptual design drawings.\nValidate contractual proposal documents against each other to ensure consistency, thoroughness, and appropriate risk mitigation\n2. Plan Set Review and Development:\nWork closely with Sales Engineers and global drafting teams to prepare conceptual design drawings inclusive of site layouts and single line drawings in a timely manner\nReview and validate drawings against proposed site configurations, scope of work and division of responsibility, internal design specifications, high-level site optimization, and internal drawing template standards\n3. Due Diligence and Risk Management:\nCoordinate and support the preparation of a thorough site due diligence package inclusive of electrical network screening, gas screening, and permitting due diligence.\nDevelop and maintain a project risk register that properly identifies potential challenges and mitigation measures to ensure proactive risk management.\n4. Collaboration and Communication:\nWork closely with cross-functional teams including sales account executives, sales engineers, cost estimators, global drafting teams, downstream project managers, supply chain, site design, utility and permitting teams, construction, and service teams to effectively capture and manage information flow.\nEffectively communicate project requirements, timelines, and expectations to all relevant stakeholders.\nCollaborate with cross-functional execution teams to develop a duration-based delivery schedule.\nProactively manage and ensure alignment of project milestones with overall contracting and execution timelines.\n5. Handover and Execution:\nCreate the final handover package, including all necessary documentation and deliverables.\nConduct comprehensive project handover meetings to downstream teams, relaying all necessary project information, ensuring a smooth transition for execution and setting up downstream teams for success.\nSkills and Experience:\nEngineering background required.\nMinimum 5-8 years of experience in the fields of Civil, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering, with Project Management experience a plus.\nExperience in Renewables preferred.\nAutoCAD and Bluebeam experience preferred.\nStrong understanding of front-end processes, proposal development, and risk management.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with diverse upstream and downstream teams.\nHighly accountable and proactive, with a keen eye for detail to ensure completeness of proposals.\nAbility to read and interpret both civil and electrical construction drawings.\nDemonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion at project handover.\nResults-oriented and collaborative individual with a passion for driving successful project outcomes in the dynamic fuel cell industry.\nAbility to leverage data-driven insights for continuous improvement and ensure the highest standards of project performance.\nFor more information visit: www.bloomenergy.com and view a video on What Powers Us!\nBloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
