This role is for a hands-on, technically fluent builder who is excited by the opportunity to apply AI to real business workflows, especially in non-technical teams where the biggest gains may come from rethinking how work gets done.\nThe person in this role will work directly with teams across Communications, Corporate Philanthropy, Climate Finance, and Global Public Policy to identify high-value use cases, prototype AI-enabled workflows, improve individual and team productivity, and scale practical patterns across the organization. They will serve as a bridge between ER, engineering, product, operations, compliance, and firmwide AI teams, helping translate emerging AI capabilities into usable, responsible, high-impact ways of working.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDiscover and Build\nPartner with ER teams to identify workflows where AI can materially improve speed, quality, insight, or scale.\nPrototype practical AI-enabled solutions using approved internal tools, automation techniques, and lightweight technical approaches.\nTranslate ambiguous business problems into testable AI use cases, pilots, and repeatable workflows.\nHelp teams rethink processes from the ground up rather than simply layering AI onto existing ways of working.\nEnable and Scale\nServe as a hands-on AI advisor and coach for ER colleagues, from first-time users to advanced practitioners.\nDevelop reusable playbooks, examples, prompts, workflows, and training materials tailored to ER’s work.\nRun demos, office hours, workshops, and showcases that make AI use cases concrete and actionable.\nBuild a community of AI champions across global ER teams and help successful ideas spread.\nConnect and Unblock\nAct as ER’s central connector to firmwide AI, engineering, product, operations, legal, and compliance partners.\nHelp colleagues navigate access, policy, security, and procedural questions around AI tools.\nStay close to Bloomberg’s internal AI roadmap and translate relevant developments into clear opportunities for ER.\nProvide ER leadership with practical updates on adoption, emerging use cases, barriers, wins, and next opportunities.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHands-on technical experience, ideally including programming, automation, data analysis, or product/engineering work.\nStrong practical fluency with AI tools and a genuine curiosity about where the technology is headed.\nAbility to work comfortably with both technical and non-technical colleagues.\nA builder mindset: you like experimenting, prototyping, testing, improving, and making things useful.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business teams.\nSound judgment around responsible AI use, confidentiality, compliance, and operational risk.\nInterest in applying technical skills to business transformation, workflow innovation, and organizational change.\nWhy This Role Matters\nAI will change how knowledge work gets done.
