BDMS works with some of the largest and most prestigious financial services firms in the world.\nWhat’s the role?\nBased in Singapore, the DMS team is seeking a driven, technically capable and client-focused individual to support the operation and technical servicing of DMS solutions. You will help ensure the stability and reliability of DMS production services through proactive monitoring, investigation and resolution of operational issues, while working closely with teams across DMS to manage production incidents, changes and client-impacting issues. The role also requires strong technical capability to support EDM and Data License Plus (DL+) environments, including configuration, data analysis, integrations and complex troubleshooting. You will provide technical expertise to clients and internal teams and help resolve issues across data, workflows and system integrations.\nWe'll trust you to:\nMonitor DMS production services and proactively investigate, remediate and escalate operational issues\nSupport incident management and troubleshooting across applications, jobs, services, alerts and client processing\nSupport production changes, deployments and upgrades through operational readiness, validation and post-deployment support \nPerform operational administration and health checks across DMS environments to ensure continuity of client services\nCoordinate with Service Desk, SRE, R&D, Client Services and other teams on production issues, risks and ongoing support activities\nSupport client-impacting operational activities and recurring production deliverables across the APAC region. \nDevelop and maintain strong technical knowledge of EDM and DL+ products, tenant configuration and supporting architecture \nProvide hands-on technical support for EDM and DL+ environments, including configuration, data and integration issues \nSupport DL+ functionality including APIs, Cloud Delivery Manager and related client integrations\nAnalyse and troubleshoot complex technical issues using SQL, Python, logs and other diagnostic tools\nProvide technical expertise to other DMS teams and support client technical discussions, demonstrations and queries where required\nCollaborate with R&D and other specialist teams on complex product, configuration and production investigations \nYou'll need to have:\nStrong experience in application support, technical service delivery, implementation or production support within financial data or enterprise platforms\nStrong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and troubleshooting data and performance issues \nProficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting and automation\nSolid understanding of data formats including Parquet, Avro, XML, JSON, YAML and CSV \nExperience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Git\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex data, application and workflow issues\nKnowledge of financial industry identifiers and asset classes\nAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise across concurrent activities and production issues\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both clients and technical teams\nA bachelor's degree or equivalent experience \nProficiency in both spoken and written English \nDemonstrated continuous career growth within an organization \nWe'd love to see:\nExperience supporting business-critical production applications or data platforms \nFamiliarity with cloud technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks or Google BigQuery\nExperience with APIs, SDKs and application integration technologies\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Kibana and Grafana\nStrong organisational, time-management and autonomous decision-making skills\nAbility to work effectively under tight deadlines and resolve complex issues \nExperience working across geographically distributed teams\nBloomberg is committed to improving the communities, cities and countries in which we work, and we support various initiatives including hiring and developing local talent.
