We offer an array of services to clients interested in custom index development, investable index products designed to offer access to systematic strategies, index administration and calculation agent services.

What’sthe role?
We’relooking for a client-facing Equity Index Solutions Specialist to help drive the growth and adoption of Bloomberg’s equity index offerings. This is a highly technical and commercially focused role, ideal for professionals with deep experience in equities-particularly inthe asset management or index provider space.
You’llact as a key partner to our index sales and relationship teams, using your expertiseto translate complex index methodologies into actionable insights for institutional clients. Your contributions will span everything from backtestingand strategic advisory to market development and client engagement.
You'llbe at the forefront of Bloomberg’s expanding equity index business, playing a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy and delivering meaningful solutions to leading financial institutions. This is an opportunity to blend technical depth, commercial savvy, and industry influence in a role with real impact.
We’lltrust you to:
- Lead client engagementby delivering impactful presentations, running custom backtests, and articulating index methodologies clearly to investment professionals.
- Drive commercial outcomes by identifyingopportunities to grow market share across traditional, ESG, factor-based, and customequity indices.
- Support strategic product developmentby feeding client insights back to product, research, and engineering teams.
- Strengthen market visibilityof Bloomberg's equity index capabilities through external meetings, thought leadership, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Build lasting partnerships with key clients atasset managers, pension funds, and other institutional investors.
- Contribute to strategic planning, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and post-launch product growth.
You’llneed to have:
- 7+ years of experience inthe equity space;this could beequity research, portfolio management, index strategy, or institutional sales
- A strong grasp of equity index construction, methodologies, and their role in portfolio design
- A proven track recordin business development, client advisory, orrevenue generation
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts
- Commercial drive with the ability to manage pipelines and meet ambitious growth targets
- CFA or equivalent is anadvantage
- High-level proficiencyin data analysis; experience with backtestingor index analytics tools is a plus
- Willingness to travel and engage with clients across regions
- Fluency in English; additionallanguages are a bonus

Salary Range = 145,000 - 235,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
