We leverage innovative security tools and a team of dedicated security engineers to protect our products throughout their lifecycle.\nJob Summary:\nAs an Application Security Engineer I, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the security of applications, conducting security assessments, and implementing security controls. You will work closely with developers, providing guidance on secure coding practices, and working to integrate security into our CI/CD pipelines.\nThis entry-level role is ideal for candidates beginning their Application Security career and looking to grow into a seasoned Application Security Engineer.\nWhat You Will Do:\nParticipate in application security practices such as:\nStatic Application Security Testing (SAST)\nDynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)\nSoftware Composition Analysis (SCA)\nPenetration Testing\nParticipate in vulnerability management processes.\nAssist in the development, deployment and automation of security tools, scripts, and processes.\nCollaborate with software engineers to design, implement, and review security features in applications.\nSupport the identification and resolution of security incidents as part of the incident response team.\nStay current on emerging security trends, vulnerabilities, and tooling to continuously elevate Application Security.\nYou Need to Have:\nBasic knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices.\nFamiliarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).\nAmbition to learn and grow into AI Security and Security Engineering.\nExposure to security testing tools like SAST, DAST, SCA, and/or vulnerability management platforms.\nAn associate's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n1-2 years of relevant experience.\nWe would Love to See :\nCertifications such as CompTIA Security+ , CompTIA Pentest+, Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) or equivalent.\nHands-on experience with:\nCI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)\nCloud environments (AWS)\nSecure coding or code review\nSecurity automation or scripting\nParticipation in security communities, Capture The Flag (CTF) events, open-source contributions, or similar skill-building activities.\nCompensation Range:\n$90,000.00-$110,000.00Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process.
