Architect Manager

You are responsible for developing and managing high-performing, full stack team of software engineers to develop software using DEVOPS and Agile/Lean principles. You will work with peers and team members to create and maintain great products that support the business vision, while looking for ways to further optimize the engineering and product development process. You will provide strong technical guidance, anticipate technical issues at the product level, and make architectural and design decisions to avoid them.

What you will do:

• Provide management, coaching and mentorship to those who report to this role to maximize team health,product delivery, effectiveness, and career growth.

• Deliver and present solutions for large initiatives across multiple verticals.

• Design, develop scalable, high availability, high performance products with a deep understanding of front end and back-end architectures.

• Shape broad architecture; ships multiple large services, complex libraries, or major pieces of infrastructure.

• Directly architect, design and deliver high-quality code and ensure high standardsof technical development are adhered by your team including observability, stability, scalability, security, performance, and cost effectiveness.

• Shape broad architecture; ships multiple large services, complex libraries, or major pieces of infrastructureand influence best practices across teams.

• Workwith product teamto estimate level of effort for projects and evaluate tradeoffs to ensure maximumimpact with team resources.

• Guide the team onmodern software development best practicesandtechnical directionwhile providing hands-on development and problem-solving assistance.

• Successfully manage projects and collaboratewith partners and stakeholders to deliver value to the business.

• Help foster an inclusive environment where our culture is a strength in delivering results for our customers,our team,and our business.

• Lead special projects and performother duties as assigned.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

• 8years of software development experience and/or commensurateskills building commercial applications with modern software engineering practices.

• Team leadership experience and strong interpersonal skills.

• Experience reducing the complexity of projects, services, and processes to get more done with less work.

• A track recordofbeinga strong influencer and thought leader inthefull software development life cycleofdistributed software delivery teams using Agile/Scrum and DevSecOpspractices.

• Demonstrated experience of cloud technologies i.e.AWS, Serverless, Event Driven Architecture, SOA, MicroServices, Microfrontend, CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, and other modern technologies.

• Demonstrated expertisewith JavaScript, Node.js, Java or Python, and frameworks such as React or VUE.js.

• Demonstrated experience of professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, architecture/design patterns, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Compensation Range:

$175,000.00-$220,000.00

Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
