You will work with peers and team members to create and maintain great products that support the business vision, while looking for ways to further optimize the engineering and product development process.What you will do:\nProvide management, coaching and mentorship to those who report to this role to maximize team health, effectiveness, and career growth.\n\nPartner with product and other teams to plan and develop roadmaps that ensure maximum impact with team and company resources.\n\nEnsure high standards of technical development are adhered to including observability, stability, scalability, security, performance, and cost effectiveness.\n\nGuide the team on modern software development best practices and technical direction while providing hands-on development and problem-solving assistance.\n\nSuccessfully estimate and deliver large projects and architectural implementations in collaboration with partners and stakeholders ensuring value to the business.\n\nEnsure adherence to establish budgets for hosting, software, and consulting expenditures.\n\nHelp foster an inclusive environment where our culture is a strength in delivering results for our customers, our team, and our business.\n\nLead special projects and perform other duties as assigned.\n\nYou'll need to have:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, software engineering, and technical writing or equivalent experience.\n\n8 years of experience in software development or commensurateskills.\n\nExperience developing enterprise platforms &/or consumer web applications using Agile and Lean methodologies.\n\nTeam leadership experience and strong interpersonal skills.\n\nExperience managing software development lifecycle.\n\nStrong knowledge ofAWS, Serverless, event driven architecture, microservices.\n\nStrong knowledge ofJavaScript, Node.js, Java or Python, and frameworks such as React or VUE.js.\n\nKnowledge of data systems including SQL/RDB, NoSQL, and messaging queues.\n\nWorking experiencewithDevOps, CICD, and infrastructure as code.\n\nCompensation Range:\n$165,000.00-$200,000.00Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process.
